Kristal Insights - February 2021

We have all heard, anecdotally, that there is a spike in gym memberships at the start of the year! And we at Kristal are very excited to see that this calendar-reset decision in January also extends to wealth management. We have seen a significant increase in clients scheduling discussions with the family for making investment planning decisions and an almost 30% increase in clients starting Systematic Investment Plans.

The markets continue to forge ahead with optimism from vaccine rollout, the slowdown in Covid cases, and positive earnings from corporates keep bringing in new investors. However, this optimism comes with concerns about stretched valuations. So while it is the Year of the Ox as per the Chinese Almanac, the ‘bear’ can make an appearance at any time and which is in this edition, we are putting the spotlight on Autopilot Growth and Autopilot Secure.

So if you have not made your investment plan for 2021, to plan for your retirement, or your kid’s college fund, the best time to start is NOW; please check out the top-ranked ETFs, run the algorithm or choose one of the auto-rebalancing portfolios.

In other news, Kristal.AI has partnered with KeyNote Women to present to you a webinar, featuring an impressive panellist of women advocates who has taken ownership of their financial independence. They will be sharing their experiences and their lessons learnt on their journey to achieve financial independence.
