Kristal Insights - January 2021

The year has hardly begun and if you go by the performance of the markets, it's already racing ahead. Perhaps the return expectations in 2021 are set by the rally in 2020, notwithstanding all the challenges and uncertainty posed by natural and man-made perils.

There is no shortage of views and ideas, however, it is not easy to deploy funds when interest rates are near zero and the S&P500 has delivered a 15%+ return last year. But we have also seen that the biggest risk in a market flooded with liquidity is staying in cash (and waiting for the elusive correction) and so the search for the true advisor and best-in-class products is on.

Dare I say that our algorithm can be one such independent unbiased and friendly advisor, so do 'Run Advisory' to see what our data-driven models say. Our Investment Committee also strives to bring products and solutions that are hidden in the deluge of ETFs that are available at your fingertips at zero cost brokerages.

Kristal Insights is an attempt to distil some of this noise and share with you what we believe may be of interest, across asset class and time horizons. We hope this regular update helps you take better decisions while managing your wealth.

Please remember to run your risk profile and remember to make use of the one click rebalance feature to re-balance your portfolio.
